SYRIAN CONNECTION:
From the beginning, due to its geographical situation, Syria was influenced by influenced her surrounding neighboring countries and empires.
Syrian Orthodox Church's beginning goes back to Antioch, Syria (present-day Antakya, Turkey). It was the first mention of Christian (Acts 11: 26), and also became the center of Gentile missionary center. Syriac, which is Aramaic dialect, is a language and still spoken by Syrians and the language of the Church of the East and some parts of Middle Eastern countries and parts of Asia.
