Mission Statement

MSBNM (EWBI) exists to share Christian teachings (Mystics, Martyrs and Church Fathers) and values
 by the means of education, prayer, worship, witnessing, and service.

History

Nov. 2015: www.bakmonastery.com was launched by Dr. Rev. Alex Pak in memory of his grandmother’s youngest sister, Martyr Bak Nam Suk.
 
Oct. 2020: EastWest Bible Institute (EWBI) was established by Dr. Rev. Alex Pak; first online class
                    launched.
 
Nov. 2020: Board Members established.

Jan. 2021: YouTube channel launched.

Nov. 2020–
Jan. 2021: The first Christian Spirituality cohort completed (10 members registered).
 
Jan. 2021: EWBI registered as a (c)(3) non-profit organization in the State of California.
 
Feb. 2021: Study of Jewish History (12 members registered)

Apr. 2021: Study of the Gospel of John (20 members registered).

Feb. 2024 Name changed to Martyr Sukbaknam Hermitage (Skete).
